Watford Hospital Radio Fundraiser
Address
High energy ten piece show band with a twist present a jam packed night of music and mayhem. Hits from the cult Blues Brothers and Commitments films feature throughout their performance punctuated with R&B, soul, swing and ska in a quirky mix of classics and contemporary tuneage. The Banned work in anything from their own reggae-style take on the Scrubs theme to Rapper’s Delight and a ska-punk version of Ghostbusters. Blues Brothers Banned regularly play venues and outdoor events all over the UK, toured Ireland last year and recently packed out London’s legendary Hard Rock Café, Pigalle Club and The 100 Club where Ryan Molloy, lead of the award winning West End musical Jersey Boys joined them on stage. 2010 was their fifth year at the Edinburgh Festival where they played at the EICC. After a cracking show at the Watford Palace last September the Blues Brothers Banned return to Watford to the Pump House - Colne River Room to party with you, me, them, everybody and raise money for Watford Hospital Radio.
